Product management is the rare field that lets me be both analytical and creative and for me, that combination has never felt like a compromise. It’s exactly who I am.
I hold a BFA in Photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Mary Washington. Two degrees that might seem unrelated, but together they reflect how I approach every problem: with equal parts rigor and imagination. That intersection is what drew me to product development, where I get to combine my analytical and artistic skill sets with my intrinsic need to help people.
Since 2014, I have worked as a Product Manager for the Carey Group, a national consulting firm that provides evidence-based training, consulting, and software for corrections professionals and justice-involved individuals. I am proud to have helped cultivate and grow the software division from the ground up, and I thrive on creating innovative, high-quality user experiences for our customers. Getting evidence-based tools into the hands of practitioners and the people they serve is deeply meaningful work to me. Every product decision is ultimately in service of a larger goal: promoting successful outcomes for all people and reducing involvement with the criminal legal system.
I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area. When I am not working, you can find me reading, listening to podcasts, exercising, and tapping into my creative side through cooking, baking, and photography.
