Product History and Role
I have worked on developing the CG Tools Platform (a web-based application) since 2014. I have seen the platform through many iterations and have helped enhance and expand the feature offerings.
The CG Tools Platform was originally a digital rights management platform that provided printable, electronic versions of Carey Group tools. The platform has evolved to offer fillable versions of Carey Group tools that can be assigned to justice-involved individuals by their supervising staff member. Self-paced, online training on Carey Group products is also offered for corrections staff through the platform.
I have been involved in many aspects of the product development for the CG Tools Platform, including:
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to create expanded platform features
- Designing user interfaces and interactive components
- Redesign and rebranding of the platform
- Conducting user testing in the form of user surveys and user interviews
- QA testing
- Creating a product vision and road map
- Setting product OKRs
- Product documentation and customer support
- Product demos
- Customer onboarding
- Product marketing
